LA Style Diary
It’s the sad truth that I really can’t seem to bear, summer has officially come and gone. As I reflect on the past season and the one to come, the most constant memory that keeps replaying in my mind is the trip I took to LA. I know every Eastsider has the same things to say about the Cali lifestyle but for me, it was just an overall surreal experience. Getting to wear my own designs out there (and getting complements) made it that much more surreal. Since I didn’t really post that much on IG about the trip, here I’ll show you guys a peek at what some of the outfits I wore during my vacay.
On one of the days my bf and I went to different sites around town, I wore a two-piece set with the top having a ruffle detailing on the straps.
This was taken on Rodeo Drive.
After hitting up Rodeo, we went to Griffith Observatory right before sunset to catch all the amazing views.
The next day we went exploring around Santa Monica and got some lunch at a cute restaurant on the pier. I wore a simple white tee with mesh inserts on the sleeve with the patchwork denim skirt. Both items were a DIY.
For a pop of contrast I wore black and white plaid printed socks to emphasize the rid effect coming off the skirt. It sort of ties the whole look together.
I kept it somewhat simple with accessories by wearing chain link earrings with an O-ring choker to match, giving the look more of an urban street vibe.
I hope this gave you all some inspiration!
